Considered the second most important city in the Guatemalan territory, Quetzaltenango still keeps many of the traditions inherited by the Maya-Quiche, a legacy that has been brought from the colonial past, to the days of the modern era. Although earthquakes, still there are several buildings of colonial times, it's a nice ride from beginning to reach the Olintepeque valleys, where is this beautiful city.
